I had fallen behind on a car note with this company and had spoken to Mr. Wonderlic at Ameristar. I suggested a payment arrangement to him to help me get current on my account and Mr. Wonderlic AGREED TO THE ARRANGEMENTS.
At 3:00 am on the morning that I was to make the first payment, he had someone come out to repossess my vehicle. What makes things so bad is that the company he sent out was so very unproffessional. As they were towing my car away, THEY DROPPED IT OFF THE WHEEL LIFT, causing major damage to the front bumper.
Now he wants me to redeem the vehicle and has not offered to adjust my account or anything for the damage, and also wants me to pay the repo fees. Again, this is after he had accepted my payment arrangements.
While I know I was technically in default of my contract, Mr. Wonderlic, who claims to be the President of the company, AGREED that the payment arrangement was acceptable.
I'm getting my credit better so I won't have to deal with creditors that treat you like crap.
