We were invited by MRI out of the blue to attend a meeting with them as a result of the difficulties we had with our purchases in BANSKO Bulgaria namely the Florimont Casino VIP Homes and Spa.
We were asked to describe what had happened, even though they knew, as they had been told and kept informed. we asked what the purpose of the meeting was and they said "to try and come up with a mutual solution".
The sales man then tried to sell us a 1 bed apartment in Aspen Heights or Ski. Razlog Valley.
Asking for an additional 90,000 they would "recognise" some of the money we had already spent but not all. At this point the high pressured sales talk kicked in and we had to make a decision that day to secure the deal.
They would also recommend the same so called independent Lawyers who have been negligent in their handling of ours and many like us purchases.
Please if there are people in similar situations please contact us through this web site as we want to start a class action to retrieve our money back through the bulgarian courts.

Hi. I am involved in a group that is working to get something done about MRI. If anyone wants to contact me do this through a website called

We are doing all we can to get this company stopped. It takes time, but we will get there in the end.

Help eradicate this type of business misrepresentation
The functions of this group is to provide support for purchasers who find they have some problems with their property purchases. We can help link people with similar problems so that they can communicate with each other rather than trying to work out what to do on a solitary basis which can be very stressful.
There are many people in the same situation with this company. There is a support group who are trying to collate data on how widespread this problem is.
There is now a website. Just google - mri-sg.org
There is also a forum where people can share experiences and knowledge.
We are concerned about some of the selling tactics by MRI and the difficulties that this has caused a lot of people, especially the selling of multiple purchases,rentals, furniture, inaccurate information, and their professional relationship with the Independent financial and legal companies that have been introduced to their customers.
We are compiling a database of investor's accounts of their experiences with these companies which are being forwarded to an MP and MEP who are looking into these issues in depth.
Eventually we would like to bring these issues to the public arena and hopefully help bring about changes to the way the system is abused by Real Estate Agencys.
Please add your account of your purchase and experience such as selling tactics, recommendations of 'independent' companies, communication or lack of it, misrepresentation etc.
To be able to fight back we need to be united. There is nothing wrong with telling the truth. Any company that uses intimidation tactics to scare off genuine purchasers with complaints about the information supplied to them must be afraid of the truth.
