LAWRENCE MURPHREE gave me a bid for $1,250 to work on my house. Normally you give a contractor half up front, right? Well, I gave Lawrence money towards the project and then he stole it. After lying about going to get a permit he decided to keep the money we gave him and never called or return to do the job he was paid to start.

I initially met Lawrence "S* for Brains" Murphree becuz he responded to the Craigslist ad I placed looking for a contractor that was lic/bonded/insured. I checked and he was all of those things. But sadly, Lawrence, and guys like him, are why people think Craigslist contractors are NOT trustworthy. He only makes it more difficult for decent people out there who are trying to make extra $$$ through CL cuz homeowners, like me, have to start doubting a good contractorc cuz he/she may end up being an a*h* like this m* f*, LAWRENCE MURPHREE!
