This is the email I sent to Lewis Singletary the GM of VW Murrieta, CA 888-897-3794;

On the 31st of August my wife Leslie Blades dropped off our VW New Beetle with your staff which they kept over night. We were charged $315.00 to repair the driver side window pully system inside the door which WAS NOT DONE CORRECTLY. On the 1st of Sep we had a potencial buyer for the vehicle until it was discovered that the door handle on the inside of the passenger door did not work thus causing the buyer to back out of the deal. I hold you and your staff responsible for this and demand an immediate refund of $315.00. Since I'm in Afghanistan you can make arrangements to refund my wife, her number is 951 XXX-XXXX.

In response to the ripoff report listed we stand behind all our repairs with a 12,000 mile or 12 month warranty.  Although the window regulator repair was performed correctly we were advised that the window crank was not operating after the repair.  We immediately looked at the vehicle and made the needed adjustment to the window crank without question and verified proper operation of the window regulator.

We understand your concern with selling the vehicle and had no intention in causing any issue that would make your deal fall through.
