I had the misery of hiring Laura LoFrumento Given and Muse Marketing to do my PR and SEO, and what a mistake it was.   We should have Googled a bit about her before we engaged with her one person company, in downtown Brookfield.  Her ideas weren’t innovative, her modest company brought nothing to the table and she did not help our brand nor our company, whatsoever.  We would have been better off throwing $100 bills out the window and hoping someone walking by grabbed one and walked into our storefront. 

When we Googled her (I know, we should have done this BEFORE we hire her,) she not only runs Muse Marketing, but she’s also a Real Estate agent and sells women’s make up on the side.  She appears to be a jack of all trades and trying to make a buck without getting a real job, but cannot master any of them.  Her profiles show nothing but vain selfies of her face, either touting her MLM makeup line, or she’s just so narcissistic, she wants to share photos of herself with a duckface.

Her credentials were weak and she appears to have been a long marketing person, in a larger marketing department.  Now she fancies herself as qualified to build her brand and drive your revenue, when she can’t even drive her own revenue and income.

We eventually dropped Muse Marketing and found a more professionally outfitted firm that suited our needs, and only then our sales took off.  There’s a lot of great reputable companies out there to help you with their SEO and Branding.   If I were to do this again, I would recommend you get client references and ask for specific and deliberate ROI metrics on spend vs. lead gen.  

I don’t even know if my wife needed makeup or I need my home sold, I would call Laura LoFrumento Given, to help!  Hope this helps everyone and Caveat Emptor!
