The people at Musketeer Partners convinced me to purchase their "Internet Marketing Business" and I paid them an initial fee of $5,995.00.

The names I was given of other supposedly successful Members to call turned out to be non-existent, the web sites being owned by MP and the addresses for them are all flower shops in the various cities.

The manual they provided, supposedly written by Jay Conrad Levinson, was worthless, the customer base of 200 they were to provide did not materialize and the customer support just was not there. However, I did advertise and establish a customer base on my own.

On February 1, 2005, everything ceased to be and MP could not be contacted by any means. All told, I have lost more than $9,000.00 plus any future income I had expected.

I filed a complaint with the FBI and I will file with the FTC, but beyond that, I don't know what to do. I would like to join anything any of the other people who were ripped off by these people are doing if I can find out who the other people like me are.

There is now a Receiver trying to identify if there is any chance of getting back more than peanuts from the at least $30m that the World Traders Association scam (which includes Musketeer Partners) took from a large number of people. The web site is http://www.robbevans.com/html/worldta.html.

Also, contact your tax advisor - they may be able to help you offset some of the loss.

I've been reading these complaints long enough to know one thing. The victims rarely if ever get one dime of their money back.

Typically, the fraud has spent it all on drugs or whores. That's the life the cons lead. They spend the money as fast as they get it.

I think this musketeer's thing was related to world traders. They were put out of business. A law firm is dividing up the little money that was left.

I think there is a picture of the w***e that took your money here. Read the other reports. Search for world traders for more info.

But, there really is nothing you can do except learn an important lesson from all this. The main thing you should walk away with is the knowledge that nobody is going to sell you a legitimate business that will make you rich.

If something like that really did exist, the owner would keep it all to themselves. Nobody is out to help you. If you want a business, you'll have to build one from scratch.

You can forget about buying into someone else's get rich quick scam.

There are many warning signs for fraud. A big one is anyone looking to sell you a guaranteed, big-money, no-work, pie in the sky nonsense scam business. Anytime I see something like that, I just laugh and move on.

After this, you will too!
