MWI Essentials ripoff dishonest fraudulent billing to debit card Omaha Nebraska

I was checking my transactions using online banking and found a debit card charge of $119.95 to MWI Essentials. I could not figure out what this charge was for. I called my bank and disputed the charge and they gave me the phone number for MWI.

I called and told the representative that the amount had been deducted from my account without my authorization. She proceeded to tell me that it was a membership renewal for some type of card that would save me money on purchases from Sears, J.C. Penney's, Target...I stopped her and told her that it was not authorized and I wanted the fee refunded to my account.

She said that I had been sent a membership packet that outlined the membership. I told her if I did receive it that I did not request it and never gave anyone permission to deduct the fees from my bank account per my debit card.

She then proceeded to try and use hard sell to get me to agree to the charges. I had to get extreemly ugly with her and threaten litigation for fraud before she would listen to me. She told me that the money would be returned within the next 2 months. I told her that it was completely unacceptable and that I wanted it done immediately! She said it would be taken care of within the next 5 business days.

If it is not refunded within the time frame that she told me I will file a form with my bank and seek legal counsel. I was also advised by my bank to get a new check card and have the other one canceled because apparently companies can sell our card numbers to other businesses. This is apparently the way that they got my number as I do occasionally order items from infomercials. Never again!!

This company should not be allowed to operate. There should be some law that would put them out of business for good. We can't let them get away with this!!
