MWI Galleria SpeedPass Unknown company taking money out of my bank account victimized many consumers Ohio

A company I never heard of, called MWI Galleria also known
as "SpeedPass" has taken out money from my personal bank
account thru my check card. I called to talk to thier customer service people, and explained to them I don't know who they are.

The guy, named "Matthew"15566 then tried to sell me over the phone on a so called "membership", I kept telling him I was not intrested.

He kept on and got an attitude with me, and then told me he would credit me back my $139.00 (according to the bank a credit was never issued).

Well, three days later I find out, the same co. took out another $139 from my card. I called again. and spoke to another operator, he kept saying that I was a member of thier club and therefore, could not cancell or get a refund.

I explained to him that I did not know who they were, and demanded to speak to a supervisor. He then told me that there were no supervisors, but that he would try and find one for me. (he then had me on hold for 20 minutes, and he hung up on me)

I tried calling back, but kept getting an automated answering service. As of right now, me and my bank are filing charges against this company, and I am also going to be contacting the Attorney Generals office.

I don't know how they got a hold of our bank card numbers, but I was told that if you give out your card number over a cordless phone, that it could be overheard on a police scanner.

Alot of crimminals purchase these, so that they can listen in on cell phone conversations. So be ware!

Also...be careful when ordering pizza or any other thing where you have to give out your card number over the phone.
