Homeworks Plus Unauthorized CC charge Omaha Nebraska

I discovered a charge on my CC for $179.95 this month. I called the number on my statement under the charge listed as MWI Homeworks Plus, and spoke with someone named Andrew (#17553).


I asked what the charge was, and he told me that I had ordered something last year and had agreed to sign up for this. He said it was a "discount" program. I assured him that I did not recollect agreeing to this charge or signing up for anything, and that as a rule, I never join ANY "discount" programs. As far as I am concerned, they are all rip-offs. Andrew assured me that he would credit the charge within 1-2 business days.

I also sent a letter with documentation to my CC company, with copies of other complaints I'd found about Homeworks on the internet.

I then decided to look through last years' CC bills, and to my dismay, I discovered other charges. One was last June for $109.95, and in July a charge of $1.95 for "shipping" along with a credit for same. My wife paid the bills, since we own a small business and she assumed it was something I'd ordered.

Guess I'm out of luck getting that back, but if anyone in CT decides to file a lawsuit, please contact me.
