MWI Simple Escapes ripoff! I NEVER ordered anything! THEY STOLE MY VISA #! Omaha Nebraska

Upon Trying to pay a bill with my Visa check card,I was told by my bank I didn't have enough money in my account. They then looked and saw charges the day before from MWI simple eccapes, a company I never heard of. I NEVER respond to pop ups solicitations by phone or e- mail because they are a scam.

Upon further investigation, charges were found dating back to Apr, for $1, then 4 months of $14.95 each. My bank's representitive was very helpful, and looked up the company on this website while on the line with me. Then I knew I had a problem.

I contacted MWI, who tried to pressure me for personal information before they would even help me. I refused(they know too much already!) but only gave my name. They found me, and had my home address, too. Finally a manager(Andy#15569)said the charges would be reversed in 2-3 days. Well we'll see. In the meantime, i notified the Federal Trade Commission, and I will be contacting th FBI as well to report interstate fraud.

From what I've read here today, I can see that while some have been duped using a trial period scam, others like me may have been doing legitimate bussiness on-line, and our information was stolen. Personally, I don't intend to quit until this is stopped. It isn't about the money. It's my credit, my time, aggrivation, and my life that have been affected. Is anyone suing ing NY yet? How about in federal court? Can you say, class action?
