I bought a product from mxmotorsports (www.mxmotorsports.us) (west palm beach fla.) on November 8th it shipped November 13th I received it around November 17 or November 18th with missing parts and promptly started calling emailing etc for parts I had several problems registering the bike with Dmv but finally did.

After insurance and 120.00 in fees and still no parts from mxmotorsports the bike ran for 599 miles before the radiator fan failed temp gauged was maxed out and no fan working and the bike wheezed, coughed and spit out oil and water on my porch.

After this it would not start at all with keys with the remote it would turnover but not start the rings and or piston are probably burned out radiator fan and what ever parts in that system and maybe the piston not to mention what vehicle scooter motorcycle or whatever could ever be trusted after such a sight blowing a engine after 599 miles more then likely the engine is going to have to be rebuilt.

I have attempted to contact Rick Marabini November 12 14 17 19 by phone and email and have parts request since November 17 November 19 and December 19 and now February 13th oh and I contacted him by phone on January 19 also and emailed him I then tried to contact a local TV station and he told me he was unaware that I had contacted him in 2 months and suddenly wanted to talk when she contacted by email.

I have contacted him again but I believe this is only lip service and he will soon ignore my emails phone calls and voice mails once again as he has in the past I have attempted to go through the credit card and this is slow but I am having trouble because i am on social security disability and no car and I have to rent and transport the bike to a shop to get repair estimates and at this time I am paying for repairs on the bike this bike was supposed to replace.

So I have something to drive at all of course Mr. Marabini is no hurry of course he has his money and he has a business to run more people to defraud. I have no doubt there are other people that have problems with this gentleman or his products.

MX Motorsports in hiding

AUTHOR: Ltd71 - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, October 15, 2008

I purchased a Xenon Phantom MP150PH-L scooter from MX Motorsports back in March 08. Bad from the get go. Had to jump start it by stripping wires and then, less than 2 miles away it died. Leaking gas. Eric had to come pick it up and replace the carb. Tree batteries and two carbs later it still sits dead in the garage. I'm lucky enough to live in Palm Bch County so I could drive it back to his shop. Always made you feel like he was doing you a favor by fixing it. Finally asked him to just refund money and say good by. Told me he couldn't do that because it was used. Had 325 miles on it, half of that was driving back from his shop after repairs. My kid was going to be using it in Miami at school and I couldn't risk him breaking down another 40 miles away. Bike was a lemon, had to have an electrical drain that he couldn't find. While it was sitting in my garage for a few weeks, not running, it started leaking gas from by the filter.

Bottom line is, I tried to sue him in small claims court. Had 2 receipts for the bike, one from MX Motorsports in Palm Bch and one from BH Motosports in Los Angeles, both made out to my son for the same bike. Title was from BH Motorsports. Also, couldn't get it titled in Fla. because the title wasn't transferred properly. Here's where it gets interesting. I served both MX and BH with orders to appear. BH Motorsports in LA got served on 6/30/08, but MX Motorsports, with Eric Marabini as RA/VP for the corp. gave an invalid address in his corporate filings so the summons came back unexecuted. Before I could serve the Pres., Jeff Vandenberg, BH must have notified them about the lawsuit. MX Motorsports Corp. was dissolved on 7/16/08. Their website says they are now MX Motortoys Inc.(new corp. filed 7/11/08), new warehouse location. Eric or Jeff are not listed on that corporation. Some guy named Nolan Knight as Pres/RA. When trying to serve him at his listed address, was told he's no longer there. Another bad address. Jeff Vandenberg's(pres. of MX) house is vacant. They seemed to have acted fast, notified on 6/30, opened new corp. on 7/11, dissolved old corp. on 7/16, to avoid giving me back $1000.00. They're probably hiding from some of you. also.

I went to the new warehouse address and low and behold, there was Eric sitting at the desk. No sign on the new place. Not easy to find. I finally found him and he was served. We'll see who shows up and what happens on October 30th, court date.

I don't recommend doing business with any company that any of these people are associated with.

Review of MxMotorsports.com (please read)
before the 2008 pitster came out i posted this thread because i thought the pitster came out early.
http://www.thumpertalk.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=563528

Rick the owner of MxMotorsports had his figures wrong on the price and had them at dealer cost. I ordered a bike with what i thought would be a good discount. After only a little $60 discount on the account of his mistake I still proceeded with the order.

I ordered the 2008 pitster x4. On Nov 8th the UPS Freight truck pulled into the loading dock at my work. when we pulled the bike off the truck the marker that slashed through the "X2" my knees went weak. I prayed it was a typo and it was really an "X4" in the box. I looked at the graphics and sure enough it was an "X2". I called Rick and ask him what was up. He blamed it on Pitster and said he would handle it with them and send me a refund check that week. I called MJ at Pitster 2 days after I got the bike (Nov 10th) and Rick had still not called Pitster to try and handle my situation. To make matters worse the bike didn't come with a MSO.

Almost a month went by and calling Rick once a week to see where the check was he said he would get it out "that week". On Dec 24th Rick finally signed his name on a check for $336.00. He took the discount he gave me and subtracted that from the original price of of a "X4". So he saved himself another $60+ dollars. I deposited the check into my account and paid the $336.00 on my credit card to cover the cost of the difference of the 2 bikes.

A week went by and I tried to buy some food and my card was declined. I went home to find out that Rick's check he wrote me bounced. I had my budget set on my account because I had just payed my bills to have enough money to cover everything on my account that was pending. When his check bounced that brought my account negative and then came the maximum 5 overdraft fees which totalled $175.00. My account was negative $500.00.

I called Rick and gave me an excuse that he just opened up a new shop or something. Rick said he would send me out a check the next day and would overnight it and would include another $105 (bank reversed 2 overdraft charges) to cover the overdraft fees he caused my account.

2 weeks ago he was supposed to overnight a check. I got an email on Thursday last week (Jan 24th) saying it got lost in his mail system at work and would be here monday Jan 28th. I got the check yesterday and not to any surprise the amount on the check was wrong again. Rick sent me a check for $360.00 which is only $24.00 he gave me towards the overdraft fees. I wrote Rick a firm email and he just replied back saying he would send another check out for the rest of the amount he said he would send.

to this day I still don't have an MSO and contacting Pitster it seems to be lost somewhere. I am not trying to throw Pitster under the bus because Gary has helped me but I do understand they are busy but it would be nice to be able to have an MSO so I can prove to the police that I really do own this pitbike and that I did pay for it.

Rick was always nice on the phone and made it seem like he wanted to help but would never follow through with what he said he would do. I have kept all of this in and never intended for it to have to come to this but I think people need to know about all of this.

Thanks for reading this and I hope to hear what you all have to say.

UPDATE: Rick said he was not going to pay for the overdraft fees. he said they are my fault that i got them even though his check was the reason i got them in the first place...

Your whole situation is very unfortunate, but sadly you are not the only person who has been wronged by them.

We used to be their SSR sales rep, but we stopped after receiving call after call from "their" customers calling to complain about issues that MX refused to take care of. Their poor customer service was reflecting onto us, so we severed our business ties with them. They are the only company that we have had to do this to.

sunl scooter china scooters are junk and this company does not answer its email either

have tried several times to contact sunl also because rick marabini ignores me and sunl is just as bad and there are several complaints on here and on a typical google search of sunl about there atv's breaking and kids getting hurt i belive there should be a class action suit against sunl and the dealers of the substandard crap there are dealing there are some dealers that stopped but some continue to pedal this crap and they know it is no good and ignore the emails and phone calls of there customers when things go wrong as long as they can make money that is all they care about is a quick buck.

Me personally if i found i was selling a bad product i would stop selling it but not these guys as long as they can ride there boats and do there clubbing they ignore it and answer the phones for new sales and pretend that they loose the complaints about problems for the old customers, and thats sad the name less faceless people get lost in the shuffle, kids etc wanting Christmas gifts and such get broken junk and remember the dealings with a crook instead of just receiving what they paid for a working bike or atv that won't leave them stranded or hurt....
