My Cash Guardian Unauthorized Withdrawal from Checking Account , Internet

I monitor my bank account daily, and today found a withdrawal for 29.95 from My Cash Guardian.

I called them, and was told I had applied for a loan and authorized them to deduct from my account.

Not true.  I did no such thing, and have never heard of this place.

They told me I could request a refund via their web-site, and it would take between 1-3 business days.  Not good enough.

I called my bank, told them my account had been compromised, and I had not authorized the debit.

They agreed to put a stop payment on the withdrawal, with no cost to me.

Luckily, because I keep such a close eye on my bank account, my bank knows me. 

I strongly urge everyone to monitor their bank accounts every day if possible so that you can put a stop to these unauthorized withdrawals.
