Background - We had two accounts that had issues where we had documentation that each company was responsible for a missing payment, in other words, it was their fault the payments were not applied and as such in communicating with these two creditors we obtained the relevant documentation that should have cleared these 30+ day late pays.
Forward- We contacted MyCreditGroup.com after some research on the Web (right, what can you trust anymore). We paid our start-up Fee of $100 and chatted with our assigned credit analyst. We were very detailed on what we wanted to get accomplished and her response was "no problem, it takes 3-rounds of writing letters to the Credit Agencies and if they do not respond, then by law they must remove these entries, and of course they are always overwhelmed and rarely respond, plus your documentation will be used to clear these entries if they do respond". GREAT we thought, so we opted for the start-up fee plus the monthly fee.

So we waited and chatted with our analyst once/month. On the fourth month, we found she was dismissed PLUS the system was in the midst of a conversion. I could not log-in anymore becuase we were not converted yet (they said 2 weeks), so I gave them 4 weeks. Same result, can't log-in. After several E-mails and calls, we were reassigned and told we had to start the entire process over since information was misplaced.

At this point I requested a refund and was told NO.

The BBB in San Diego has my complaint on file.

The point is this: We got informed as best we could via research on what we could get accomplished with disputing information on our credit reports. Our scenario fell in between the possible versus not-possible and when we made sure this issue was understood by our credit analyst we were told they could get these entries removed.
It was worth the money IF they indeed removed these since I did not have the time to execute a letter writing campaign, however they did not.
