My Free Travel Grocery & Gas Rebates Scam, Lied, Out of Business, No Forwarding Address Joliet, Illinois

My boyfriend and I first came across this company at our local county fair. The gentleman stopped us and gave us his sales pitch. How we paid "just $50" and we could get a $25 visa card every month for a year just for buying our gas and a $25 visa card for buying groceries up to $1000 for the next 20 months. I handed over my credit card. Sound to good to be true? It is! I logged on and completed the registration process and found out about the $9.95 "refundable registration fee". 

Everything was completed and mailed in. My registration fee checks were cashed. My receipts were mailed in. I was waiting the "4-6 weeks" to receive my first $25 card for gas and a $25 card for groceries plus the $10 fee they were going to include on the first card. I should have received a total of $70. Instead I am out $70.

When I mailed my second months receipts in I thought of checking status for the outstanding cards. Hmmm...experiencing an error...site under construction? So I called the number on my paperwork..closed for the holidays? It was only the beginning of December. Were they still closed from Thanksgiving? 

I went back on the registration site and found a message stating to give 10-12 weeks for processing of the visa cards. Yesterday I received my receipts back stating company moved and left no forwarding address.

Oh yeah, if you look on the Better Business Bureau website the "A" rating the gentleman told us all about is now an "F" as of 12/09. According to the BBB the company laid off their staff and locked their doors.

Now what can I do?
