MY INFO GUARD - Enhanced Service Billing - ESBI fraudulant billing internet

Upon getting ready to pay my SBC phone bill I noticed it was higher then the normal so I scrlled through and see a charge for

I find out from SBC that I would need to contact this random company and tell them about the wrong charge.

I call the number and go through an automated prompt having to give my phone number then I get a live person who I tell that I have been fraudulently charged from your company. He then states my number to which I had given when I first called saying that indeed this number ordered this service. He was speaking with an accent and was acting nervous.

I then said what is the address for which supposedly requested your service and the name. He then gives some random very unsual name I couldnt even spell or pronounce if I tried and says he can't read the address???

I then say I "have had this number for over 12 years I never ordered your service" whatever it is???

I then contacted SBC again with this info, and also info I found online about fraud cases going back to 2001 with a company with the same name and aka's. Go figure U didnt know random wierdos could make additions to your SBC services.

SBC stated,

We have reviewed your account. Since you were unable to resolve your dispute directly with Enhanced Service Billing Inc aka MY INFO GUARD, LLC ., we have issued a recourse adjustment.

A recourse adjustment will remove the charges from your SBC bill. However, the service provider may pursue collection of the charges directly from you. You may deduct $15.40 from your bill.



In the end I am tierd of having to watch dog everything in life because of people's lake of Integrity!!!!!!!!!!.
