A "Pop Up", asking for .99 one time fee to access a report. Approved. THEN, once cc entered another "Pop Up" which stated a monthly charge to be issued for $10.95 thereafter - unless canceled. Immediately canceled via email and phone. Have threads of repeated emails regarding the issue and the cancelation notification; yet, My Life continued to charge cc every month. When speaking with them, they could not find the associated account, email or name. (?) They stated no charges were implemented or being drawn. Four months later these charges were spot on the 15th of each month and situation unresolved. Phone calls ensued - again, denial. Made call to bank, confirming charges. Phone call to My Life with complaint. Again, they could not find associated account.

After much prodding, the account was confirmed. When I stated the charges were fraudulent, they denied it. When I explained the "Pop Ups", they said they would cancel and refund the most recent charge. I said that was insufficient and expected ALL charges to be refunded - immediately. Their next question was: "Have you talked with your bank?" My answer was "Yes". They anxiously asked: "Did you file a dispute?" When I explained I was in the process, they remarked: "We will not issue any refund until there is proof there is no dispute processed. Have your bank official call back with you on the line and then we will issue the refund within 7 business days." I stated: "Then we have a definite problem here, as I am not dropping a dispute unless the money is immediately refunded." This was a week ago and My Life has not refunded the money they took out without authorization. VISA is now aware of their activities.

Mylife is a scam

AUTHOR: Jen - ()

POSTED: Thursday, February 12, 2015

Myilfe continuously sent me email  Why do we have to pay money to stop them anyone.  There should be a law that credit card companies cannot sell personal data online.  Where are our rights???  Mylife has linked me up to people that maybe my relatives just because maybe someone in my family has one time been those people's roommates during college.  It is crazy.  I am listed as living in over 25 places and  most of the places I never even been to.   They listed my brother's roommates in college as my relatives.  Just because we share the same surname doesn't mean we are relatives.   There are over 10 companies online selling our personal information such as birthdays & social security numbers and these come from credit card companies and this should be illegal.
