I wanted to get some info. about working on the internet so I ordered a cd to help. I was told it was going to be $1.99. Then in six days they charge you $81.32. I called and asked for a refund and was told it was a non-refundable charge. If I dont want a product I should be able to get my money back. If this company wasnt a scam they would allow you to cancel and get your money back. When people on the internet do this to you or for that matter any one this causes many people not to trust the internet. Im starting a online business and I dont need people trying to steal my funds. I hope Google will look into this company and shut them down. I also know on the Spiritual side of this, if these people who are running this business continue to operate like this that they will be taken care of by GOD!

I agree. I just went through the same thing. However, when I called the person was extremely argumentive to the point of verbal abuse in how I should conduct my personal finances. He was very unprofessional and incompetent. It is definately a scam and after looking at it I did not want it nor did I even use any of its resources. I was charged $1.95, $81.32 plus I was charged again $13.42. My credit card company would not even back me up. So I just paid out $96.69 for absolutely nothing (signing up on a useless website). My suggestion - Don't sign up for anything that is a trial...especially these kinds of websites.

If you're going to be starting an online business, you need to learn the ways of the 'net.
Anytime someone offers something online for a small amount, generally less that $5, to cover "shipping and handling", they're actually doing something else. The offer of the CD or other cheap item is merely to get you to do two things. One, hand over your credit card info. And two, fill out a form that has a link to some small print that says you're signing up for a "club" or "membership" that will be cost you x dollars a month. Or sometimes it'll state that you're signing up for something on a trial basis and that you'll have to pay if you don't cancel (and they make it impossible to cancel).
There are some "free" things on the Internet. The easy way to tell is that you don't have to part with your credit card number. Anything that is "free", but requires your card info for a small "shipping and handling" charge is likely a scam.
