My Voice Mail Reports My Voice Mail Network Total Enhanced Billing Inc MY VOICEMAIL NETWORK ADDED A VOICE MAIL SERVICE TO MY PHONE BILL W/O MY PERMISSION Nationwide

I received my usual AT&t phone bill dated September 14, 2008. To my surprise my phone bill was higher than usual. After searching for the reason, I found that a charge of $12.95 plus appropriate taxes had been added to my phone bill.

My bill read "billed on behalf of My Voicemail Network" mnthy fee 12.95.
Below this it read #new services provided and billed.

I was shocked! I had never heard of this company etc. The first thing I did was call my phone company and they explained that I would have to deal with this company on my own.

So I called this 888-956-1234 number and all I got was a voicemail. I left my number etc. but never heard from them.

Blessedly my phone company deleted the charges and billed it back to them. so apparently I am even with the board now.

The following month I was billed the same amount and I called the same number with the same results. Once again my phone company deleted the charges and billed them back.

So now I'm waiting for my November bill to see what happens.

I see this kind of business practice reprehensible, unconscionable and plain dishonest.

I wonder if others have been victimized by the same company (if in fact it is a company and not a boiler factory). Thanks so much.
