I received a pop-up when opening another web sight asking me to participate in a brief survey.  If I did the survey I could pick 2 "free" gifts for only shipping.  I picked Dermitage, Acai and the watch (which was another pop-up).  I complained about the two first offers when I received them because it stated that they were for a 14 day free trial only.  I immediately boxed them back up and sent them back.  However, when I received the Gfneva (that's what is written on the face of the watch) there was no paper work with it stating that it was a 14 day trial offer.

I have contacted 'my geneva watch.com' and asked them to send me a RMA and address so I could send the watch back.  I was informed that I had missed the 14 day trial offer and could not return the watch.  The $99.42 for the watch was taken out of my checking account on 3/3/10.

The description of the charge on my checking account is purchase RUSSO WATCHES, phone no. 877-296-0480.  I called them and was directed to websitge supp@mygenevawatch.com if I wanted a refund.

I would sincerely appreciate any help you could give me in this matter.  I do believe this is a rip-off and should be reported to the proper authorities.

advice on how to reslove

AUTHOR: Victor - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, April 11, 2010

I too had an encounter with Russowatches; in my case I never ordered the watch which arrived in the mail with a note stating that the shipping and handling was $4.84 and the watch was $1.15!!!, only to see a charge of $99.42 on my VISA card.

I contacted the vendor by e-mail at: support@russowatches.com requesting a RAM number as I had never ordered the really cheap "time piece" they now wanted $99.42 for.  They responded promptly with an apology but no RAM because "your account is currently active and your risk free trial period has ended per our terms and conditions, you were billed for the monthly supply". In the same message they informed me that "your account is now in a state of cancellation, which means you will not receive any future charges or shipments of the product". I then warned them that I would  return the watch even without a RAM number and that "I will vigorously pursue all legal means to recover my money; an answer will be much appreciated".  I received an offer to keep the watch and be billed "only" $44.99.  At this point I contacted Wells Fargo's fraud department who made a 3 way phone call to Russowatches explaining the circumstances of this issue.  Russowatches issued a RAM number on the spot.  I mailed the watch back and got a prompt refund of $99.42 into my account.  I hope you can handle this issue likewise.  I finally visited the web site run by Russowatches and I must admit that their ordering method is very confusing and it would be easy for an unsuspecting customer to end up buying something he/she didn't want to; best of luck
