Mystic Dunes Resort & Golf Club Mystic Dunes Timeshare Scam Kissimmee, Florida

I unfortunately got tricked into buying a timeshare with this place several years ago. Worst financial decision I made in my life. That aside, I would rate this place as one of the better resorts in the area. My major problem with this place is that I am actually paying MORE to stay here as an owner than if I would just reserve a week as a guest. Additionally, it turns out that they keep two inventories, one for guests, the other (much smaller qty.) for owners. Guess what happens when the owner inventory runs out?

The rooms are a little worn out, and several of their "new" remodeled rooms not only look worse than the old ones, but it turns out that these new rooms also include an additional amenity... bed bugs!

On one stay we got one of the new remodeled rooms, it clearly was several steps down from the old rooms. They appear smaller, less inviting, and have almost no storage space. This particular trip we got to stay in the bed bug suite. We were moved to another building and got one of the older rooms (which was much more spacious). However, this room had an ant problem. Ants I could live with, after all I did not want to move again.

The next year (just recently) we stayed again, not by choice, but because the Timeshare's swapping system is nothing more than scam. This time our villa featured cockroaches, more than one on several occasions. I brought some friends from out of the country this time, and I was very embarrassed.
