In January 2010 We sent Bev Thomas of Mystique Brussels griffon or mystiquefurbabies.com 1,450. dollars for a show brussels griffon puppy. Pryor to that my wife had been talking to Bev Thomas about showing dogs for about a month, then by February we mailed Bev our final payment in which she e-mailed us back and said she had recieved it. we kept asking her to send the contract. And thats when all the excuses and lies started. Excuses like she broke her tooth to her german shepard dying and of course being to sick to talk. Then she rarely answered the phone at all and would not return our calls,

finalley she emailed us and said the puppies ears needed to be cropped for 200 dollars and we agreed to it. She said her friend the vet could get it done cheaper and knew what he was doing. So on several occasions we asked Bev to send us photos and tell us about the progress of the puppy. she never sent the photos but kept making excuses about his ears. We were all excited about showing the dog as a family outing thing during the summer, but then months went by and one day my wife and I are surfing the web and seen our little male puppy being sold as a female puppy on (puppyfind.com). We were already worried as it had been three months and little to no contact with Bev Thomas.

So then she said she was going to send 400 dollars as a partial refund but of course wrote us back telling us her airconditioning had broken down and tried to pawn us off on another puppy. so we agreed on another puppy to get something for our money then she said it was to hot to send puppies anymore. so finealley I called the Fayette Missouri Sheriffs Department and got a hold of sheriff mike neil and told him my story. Mike Neil called Bev Thomas and she confessed that things came up and she had spent our money, but would pay us back in three monthly installment or if she sold her house in Boonsville Missouri or sold a puppy she would pay us sooner. Well still no money or puppy. Then we wrote the Better Business Bureau told them our story they called Bev Thomas and tried to play the victim so the Better Business Bureau sent our case (#1407994) to the dispute resolution department.

So then I sent them all the email and lies and all documentation and proof of everything as I have stated here, Bev would not even answer the Better Business Bureaus phone calls so the directed me to the Missouri Attorney Generals office as I have currently started doing. All I ever wanted was my money back. Just the money Bev Thomas owes me nothing more nothing less. We are a low income family of five and Bev knew we saved our tax money for that little puppy. We arent asking her for the money that spent faxing our documentation and proof that she burned us (which costs ten dollars at the faxing service) or the two days we both took off to go to the detroit airport which she canceled the night before.
