Contacted company for refinancing student loans, had conversation recorded. They Were suppose to consolidate my student loans into an income based repayment program. I gave mystudentadvisors all the documentations. They told me it would be a service charge $49 for 18 months, I agreed. Month later, my new student loan holder contacts me for more information to finish the student loan, she stated that the paperwork was never filed completely to the department of Education for income based repayment. My sensitive personal information was not submitted in its entirety.

Where did that info go after I gave it to mystudentadvisor.com? So I resubmitted and filed my own paperwork for the income based repayment, got approved. GreatLakes (new student loan holder) advised me to file with Atterney General about identity theft since mystudentadvisor never submitted all the forms. 18 months later I still am paying the third party for ’filing for income based repayment.’ Now third party say it is 40 month term. Beware if you are using mystudentadvisors.com. They will not let me listen to the recorded phone conversation, they only keep those recordings for a couple of months
