#4 UPDATE Employee
disgruntled former employee

Is there really a scam here? or a ripoff? Where? Anyone reading this has to ask themselves, what is the motivation for writing this? This is someone who obviously has intimate knowledge of the subject. Years of experience even. To write something like this after being let go, they are clearly unprofessional. Maybe why they are unemployed and now have too much time on their hands.
Any intelligent person knows that a company must generate capital to pay employees, bills etc. They are not volunteers. These companies offer services or products that cost money to produce. If they don't deliver on promises then the matter is for the better business bureau, not whining forums. This is a blatant attempt to anonymously tarnish a company without any substance.

More of the Same "Who's Who" Hard Sell
AUTHOR: SRCEO - ()
SUBMITTED: Thursday, July 24, 2014
Last week, I was solicited by the National Association of Male Executives via email. There was no mention in the email of any cost to join or become recognized. So, I completed a form to get more informetion that included my name, business phone number, buisness name, position, and email address. Today, I received a telephone call from a representative of N.A.M.E. She spent about 15-20 minutes asking me for information about my company, my education and my accomplishments. I freely gave her this information as it is available on my social nework site as well as on LinkedIn. She proceeded to tell me about the influential people I could network with and their influential members such as Sylvester Stallone, someone who may be an actor (actor is questionable - perhaps entertainer) but who I would not put in a class with Bil Gates, Warren Buffett, Donald Trump, or Larry Ellison. She told me I could have recognition and prestige by belonging and could even be interviewed on the radio..."everyone wants to be on the radio." I then asked her, "what does all of this cost?" She then proceeded to tell me about the travel benefits with Liberty Travel and the on line discounted shopping mall. When I asked for specifics about the discount she simply went on with her "close." She said the cost for the highest level plan was $995.00 and the regular plan, without the radio interview was $495 and proceeded to use the "fatal alternative" close on me..."do you want the elite plan for $995 or the regular plan for $495?" I told her that I was already receiving all of the benefits she mentioned through LinkedIn and Club Corp and Amazon provides me with plenty of discounts on line. This is where the hard sell kicked in and she constantly talked over me to the point where I said that I did not see the value in her offering, She then asked why I didn't want the prestige and recognition or the networking with people like Sylverter Stallone. I told her that I had all of the networking and prestige I needed and I have already been interviewed on national TV and radio. She said to me, "you make a lot of money and are rich, you can afford it." I told her that I absolutely can afford it, but I was not interested in wasting my money at any price. She said something to the effect that I was impossible and then proceeded to end the conversation by hanging up.
N.A.M.E. is the same product with a different story as Who's Who, who (pardon the pun) is in the primary business of selling advertising and books. It appears that N.A.M.E., located in the same city, is in the same business. Perhaps they are the same company with a different name and schtick. Bottom line, if you want a book, or a 20 minute radion interview with no one listening or another certificate on your wall and are willing to pay $1,000 for the privilege, then these organizations might have some sizzle. I earn my recognition and prestige every day by working hard and striving for excellence. I'd rather have the $1,000 for a nice weekend in the Berkshires. And, I don't respond to the hard sell.

#2 UPDATE Employee
an unfortunate waste of time caused by a disgruntled ex employee
AUTHOR: Jay - ()
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, January 07, 2014
It,s unfortunate that disgruntled ex employees can sit home all day and have nothing better to do. This unfortunate opinion was from an ex employee who was terminated during the start up of the company for lack of work ethic and an inability to execute tasks that he was hired to perform. Need I say more....
I am an a current employee of the company and am proud to be a part of it's team and am looking forward to being associated with a company which provides excellent services for male professionals.

#1 UPDATE Employee
Rebuttal on a total lie
AUTHOR: Jay - ()
SUBMITTED: Monday, August 19, 2013
As a current employee of N.A.M.E. I am offended by the lies and accusations from a disgruntled ex-employee who was terminated due to unethical business practices. When this ex-employee posted this nonsense the company had just been launched and was not even completley up and running. It's ashame that companies swho are legitimate and doing the right thing must be subject to this type of harrassment. Rip off report should have looked into this matter before allowing this to be published on their site without doing any research. N.A.M.E. is owned by people of integrity and they have their customer's best interest at heart.
Sincerley,
Jay Sparber
