Nancy Clark & Associates pretends to be a drug & alcohol rehab that offers alternative sentencing for drug and alcohol legal situations. My personal experience with this person and facility was absolutely horrifying. I recently completed 180 days of treatment there, and the entire time she was trying to get more money out of my parents. She continuously tried to cause problems for me with my probation officer who would think I was doing OK because the counselors would say positive things about my progress (which was accurate) but then Nancy Clark would always try and create some kind of drama around my compliance when really I was doing everything I was supposed to do. It seems she was never happy with me specifically, always hassling me in passing about wearing a hat or playing loud music in my car. It seems she is operating a fraudulent program, because she suggested what medical insurance to buy, then inaccurately charged my medical insurance for treatments I never received.

Then she would come after me for the balance, even after I spoke to my insurance and they said that was illegal for her to do. She employs people who have spent most of their life in prison to be case managers, who have no clinical therapy experience, then billed my insurance as if I were seeing a real doctor. My HIPPA rights were violated frequently with the inappropriate sharing of personal medical information to other clients, outside parties that are not on consent. Mold, drug paraphernalia, rats, and bugs are just a few of the disgusting things that became the norm in the low quality housing. Groups were a complete disaster and are basically run by the clients who just want to leave as quickly as possible. There are a couple staff members who are respectable, and have legitimate clinical recovery experience (initials MM and TB) but the moment they try and improve things or make decisions, Nancy seems to just stifle their efforts to make contributions.

She allows people to use drugs and live in the program. This puts a lot of stress and pressure on the people who are trying to stay sober or avoid that kind of thing. There may be people who have had good experiences with her program if they pay the money she wants from them, but if not it seems he's quick to send people back to jail. Nancy Clark does not run an ethical rehab facility despite all the ways she could easily make it better. The Nancy Clark rehab is not helping people stay sober or clean from drugs and therefor is not a safe alternative sentencing solution. I would strongly avoid this person and program and highly recommend another facility that is accredited and has true clinical therapeutic services.
