Natalies Second Chance DISCRIMINATION ANIMAL CRUELTY Lafayette Indiana

 After losing our dear Jack to cancer this past spring we were certain that someday we would get another dog. Fall came and it was really nice out, I was sitting outside enjoying what would probably be one of the last good days before the cold set in and a butterfly kept landing on me. I smiled and knew it was Jack saying go mom get another dog. We then set out to look for our new family member. We met a dog she was adorable. We adopted her. She turned out to be more than what we could handle. Very sweet but was a chewer. We decided to find her a home. Because I took the oath to adopt her I would NOT take her back to the pound. I found the perfect home for her long story short it was a true blessing in disguise. She went with an adorable little boy with severe adhd and aspergers. Turned out to this day they are best friends and has helped this precious child in so many ways. So several months later we have a missing part to our family. I started looking again. A dog older, much smaller. I found a dog 6 years old, 9 pounds adorable such a lover. I told them I would be back tomorrow (today) to get him..with much anticipation and excitement. We walked in and I told them. We are here to pick up our dog. Graci with her favorite blanket in hand to make sure he didn't get cold..they said after the visit you had last night we think that you would love him but her...pointing at graci..we don't feel she would love him and we love him therefore you can't have him because we feel he would go to an unfit home. We both started bawling. Begging them that we would never hurt a fly. We loved him already and desperately needed and wanted him they said sorry please leave. My heart is broken and feeling very sad for what my daughter went through. And what a bad choice they made. He would have such a loving rest of his life. Some make think oh well move on..but all that knows me, I would never ever hurt anything or anyone. I am just broken-hearted. I hope that he just doesn't spend the rest of his life in a cage when he could have had such a great life.
