After some Internet searching, discovered that the number belongs to National Action Financial Services (NAFS), 165 Lawrence Bell Drive, Suite 100, Williamsville, NY 14221.

This company started calling about 2 weeks ago. They asked for my brother who has long been gone from here. I told them I would pass on the message as I did just that. They have called almost everyday and even early Saturday morning before I even opened up. I have a place of business and this is harrasment.

I am in process of contacting an attorney and the attorney general. I think when you've asked someone to quit calling, they should. He just hung up on me. I have receieved calls everyday since but I havent answered. This is a rude and disrespectful collection agency. Its not even my problem! Its against the law to bother relatives or even a place of business.

How to stop National Action Financial Services

AUTHOR: Steve [Not A Lawyer] - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, March 31, 2007

Rhonda,

You are dealing with assoted forms of lowlife and crackheads, etc at National Action Financial Services. They are MORONS.

All you need to do is send a CEASE COMMUNICATIONS request as per the provisions of the FDCPA. Send this request by CERTIFIED MAIL, return reciept requested. Be sure to put the certified# on the letter itself and keep a copy for your records..

Clearly list the addresses and phone numbers that they have been contacting and you are hereby demanding they stop immediately.

tell them that failure to do so will bring a lawsuit under the provisions of the FDCPA and possible criminal charges for stalking.

Now when they violate, you can get paid! You will never know how great it feels to get paid by a bottomfeeder until you do it just once.

Don't get mad, get paid.

FYI..At this point what they are doing is NOT illegal, just annoying. It would only be illegal if they discussed your relative's debt with you, and that would still only be a civil matter, not criminal.

File a police report on the harassment. And file an online complaint EACH TIME they call at ftc.gov.

Respond to this report!
