National Advertising Center - Video Reporter NAS - Video Reporter will steal money from your checking account! Canoga Park California

NAS/Video Reporter visited my shop in January 2009 and represented themselves as the publisher of Green Magazine which they said was given out at Bristol Farms in South Pasadena. They contracted to put an ad for my shop in the magazine for $25.OO per week, starting in March of 2009. I gave them a check (set-up fee/deposit) for $129.00 which was cashed within 24 hours. Towards the middle of February I received a bill from this company stating that I owed a $369.00. I immediately called them because of: #1) their lack of work & #2) The invoice amount was exorbitant and incorrect.

4 bad ad drafts and almost 4 months after agreeing to place an ad but not performing on that promise, I contacted them in writing, in part because it was next to impossible to contact a live person at their phone number, cancelling the agreement. Two weeks later I received about the 5th invoice, this one for over $1,000.00. On May 28th, I checked my bank account online, as I regularly do and found a check had posted with a strange check number for $369.00. I clicked on the check to get a visual and saw a check printed to look like my checks without my signature. I am still working with my bank to get my funds returned but in the meantime, I've had to open another account at another bank so that I can continue operating my business and change my merchant account as well for my customers using credit.
