National American University Rapid City, SD Overcharging, false verification Rapid City South Dakota

The financial aid department on several occaisions overcharged different school funding parties resulting in additional student fees. The school would falsely report attendance to the VA and then within a week or two correct the attendance without the students knowledge resulting in fees applied to the student. The school would overcharge the VA and loan groups and wait 2 to 3 years to seek reparations with the student with no explanation to charges or sittuations that caused charges. Counselors and advisors would make suggestions or place the student in a class causing overages above what financial aid would cover and hold the student responsible for making the additional payments but not own up to placing the student in classes without prior consent. Overages claimed by the VA were paid back to the VA by the student but the school still seeks payments with no bases.
