NAC - National Auto Care Screwed over for $5,600.00 Westerville Ohio

Purchased service contract....needed a injector pump which I faxed a "Authorization Request" which NAC never responded to. Shop charged $85.00 to try to make contact as they said NAC never calls back...left three messges with no call back. Four days later NAC left a message they were looking for a "used" pump. Day 5 no contact. Day 6 I told shop to proceed as shop said they'd not accept NAC's authorization anyway as they'd neve get paid. NAC now declined my invoice as they claim I did not follow "prior authorization" procedures.

Down for 7 days...paid for a contract which isn't worth the powder to blow it up with and now fighting NAC to be responsible for their "programmed" delay (s) and simply be responsible and honor what they were paid for and to do. SUGGEST: BUY GOOD SAM "direct"...do not work nor deal with any dealer who makes 50% and more off the contract.

Will keep you apprised and looking for others who will join legal suit and petition States Attorney General Offices to shut them down as a fraud.
