A lady called Sue from this company called me to offer their services and also asked to recommend new clients. I hired them to clean my area rug and also made an appointment for my mother. They came and did a good job with my rug and claimed it would cost me more money than what I got quoted. I disagreed and had the manager called to approve what was already promised to me on the phone. My mother needed her area rug cleaned too. They went, cleaned and deodorized the rug, and charged $65.00. The rug was dirty only and it did not have any white spots prior to their cleaning. They cleaned all the dirt successfully however, after the deodorizer/scotchguard was sprayed it left spots of white foam all over. I advised my mother that it probably needed to dry for several hours. After several hours, it dried but the foam became white spots all over. I called the company and they scheduled another appointment to go back and clean the spots on 11/16/07 from 11am - 1pm. They never showed up and never called. I called them to let them know that no one showed up. The lady said she will call me back. I gave them a few days to call back but no one called. I called them again today 11/27/07 and the lady said she will not send the guys back because I complained too much and she did not want to do business with us anymore. I'm upset and very embarrased for my mother. I reported them to Better Business Bureau and the only thing they replied was to vacuum the rug. I can't believe this company! Don't do business with them! SHAME ON THEM!!!

Client's Rug Had Been Bleached Before National Carpet Cleaned It

AUTHOR: Owner - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, March 15, 2011

It is a fact that a customer will go out of their way to complain and post a negative comment that to take an extra step to give a good review. In this case, National Carpet was not responsible for the bleach marks on the client's carpet. We have been in business for 17 years and have thousands of satisfied customers. As with any business, errors can occur and there are instances where customers aren't 100% satisfied when you've been in business this long. If we are responsible for any damages we will take responsibility to right the situation.

However, with this client, we did not cause any damage to her rug. Our technician could see that the client tried to spot clean the rug previously. The process that we use on such a rug involves no bleaching agents. When the rug was completely cleaned the bleach spots were visible. It is unfortunate that an opportunistic person trying to get a new oriental rug, would set out to write a damageing report when they know that they caused the damage to their own property trying to remove spots on their own.
Under the circumstances our company handled this situation very well but we were not going to be strong armed into providing a new rug to the client when we were not at fault. We did not offer to come out again and did not show. We were asked to replace the rug and we advised the client that this would not be the remedy since we did not bleach her rug.

Basic steps in fine rug cleaning

AUTHOR: Passion Of Persia - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, July 18, 2008

I am a Master Weaver for Passion of Persia. I would like to give you guys the basic steps in rug cleaning.

First is Dusting! The rug should be turned upside down and beated to take all the dust and debris. not doing so, will break the internal foundations warps and wefts. Passion of Persia does a dry dusting, and a wet dusitng stages.

Next the cleaning, for a true proffesional should be submersion in distill, or r.o. water for best results. Passion of Persia uses lanloin oil which is natural found in wool to protect the wool during our hand washing. If Chemicals are said being used that is a person you want to avoid cleaning your fine orientals. Of course both sides of the rug is hand scrubbed. www.passionofpersia.com

Next the rug should be groomed, and rinsed and sqegeed till the water is clear. Then the rug must be dryed in a "I" shape only, not a u or W shape.

And final if all else fails ask for 3 refrences of your rug that they cleaned in the last month. for emample you have a navajo germantown blanket. Ask the company for 3 recent customers that they cleaned that are Navajo germantown blankets.

or to simplify the whole process send your rugs to Passion of Persia www.passionofpersia.com www.passionofpersiarugs.com
