Dishonest Salesman:
I have a contract that was written in June 2008. This contract was contingent on HOA approval & a special price offered for a deck & a fence. I was told by the salesman that if I purchased the deck and the fence he would give me a great price. I agreed that if I could get this price contingent on the HOA approval I would purchase both.

Unfortunately the HOA did not approve 6 foot fence. When I called and told the salesman he tried to force a 4 foot fence on me. I advised the salesman that I because I can't get both I am going to opt out of the deal. He advised that perhaps we can void out this contract and discuss a new one and I advised him not at this time.

I received a call a different salesman from National Deck and Patio. I was advised that my saleman no longer worked there and this new salesman was following up on the order. I informed him that I decided not to do business with his company and why. This happened at the end of September 2008. The beginning of October I recieved another call from the manage of NDP and again I informed him of the same thing. Yesterday I recieved a all from this company again telling me that they can come out on Wednesday and install my deck that I need to confirm with them that it is alright.

Call and left a message for them not to call me anymore, that at this time this is harrassment and I am not going to put up with this.

Right now I am so frustrated with the lies that the original salesman told me. He made me believe I could get out of the contract due to the contingencies.

DO NOT TRUST NATIONAL DECK & PATIO THEY ARE NOT ABOUT THEIR WORD!

Received an e-mail & phone call from NDP

AUTHOR: Aliseforpeace - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, October 25, 2008

After sending my complaint to the Better Business Bureau I received a message from the CEO of NDP and he asked me did I send a cancellation in writing. I had not. But after knowing this I immediately sent an e-mail to the Chief Operations Officer. I also spoke to her on the phone. She advised me that mistakenly someone had called me to arrange for the deck to be built on that Wednesday, that had been a mix up in names, and she also advised that the initial salesman had not stated that I wanted to cancel the request. I can say that the Chief Operations Officer apologized for all that had occurred.

At this point this issue has been resolved per the Chief Operations Officer.
