7/11/2016.

I received a fancy "Award Letter " stating I had won a large sum of money in a Researching Sweepstakes conducted by unidentified Corporate organizations. The sum of money was 1,560,000.00 USD.

I am assigned a prize listing number dated 7/7/16. Deadline to claim is 7/21/16. I am to complete the Document Acceptance Form which has a supposed Prize Listing Number . There is a bar code of sorts above this number.

To claim prize, I am instructed to enclose a $20.00 as a document processing fee. (check, money order, or cash !Make check or money order payable to NFA.

There is a Logo stamp, a circle with 2 flowers inside. The claim # is 11 number digits. It also requests a signature. Very suspicious when saying you may send $20 cash to claim.

Fancy decorative form but stamped on very flimsy cheap paper. Pre-addressed return envelope included. This envloped has the address and is stamped in black letters saying Confidential.

I of course looked up the NFA on rip-off and found report although I didnt see any takers who tried it.You list a 1-866 number. Wonder what would happen if I called it?

I am a senior citizen and get scam offers of large summs of money from UK, Nigeria. Just last week I got one from Malaysia "Western Union". The writing grammer is usually very lousy in those via e-mail.Often claiming to be a consulate or barrister.

They ask for $250 USD or more. Claim it is a lost inheritance or something. So tired of Rip-offs especially targeting seniors.I have suffered identity theft as well shortly after my spouse passed away. Crazy scarey world.

Thank you Rtp-off for all you do.
