National Gas and Electric Eversource Repeated phone calls from 800 service...notifying me that I am elegible for lower electricity rates. Internet

Foreign sounding man went through a long speal telling me about the lower rates I can get because I have paid my bill on time for the last 6 month.
Then he wanted me to talk to a "verification" person that "I could not ask any questions of." It sounded like a scam to me so I hung up.
They immediately called back three more times and chastised me for hanging up! I hung up each time. The number they called from was 800-707-1786.
