National Gifting Center Bellevue, WA & Washington DC - Consumers unite - don't get taken Ripoff Bellevue Washington

Received a call from this company from a man with a strong accent and could barely understand what was being said because of the poor connection and strong accent. He was verifying info about me and also about my husband & stated we entered a contest last December 2006. My husband passed away about 3 years ago, so red flags went up...I asked where we entered this contest & was given a list of names KMart, WalMart, & grocery stores in the area. I don't support those big box retail stores, though I do shop at the grocery stores.

After 3 times, I could understand what the name of the company he was saying as "National Gifting Center". Found this report immediately when I went online, so thanks for the info. I declined the "gift" he'd explained, which was the same as earlier report at Ramada/Hilton Hotel and said goodbye. Hard sell, wanted to pass me to supervisor, so I again said goodbye & hung up.

The "supervisor" called me back a few minutes later. I stated immediately I was on the "do not call list" and that made him hang up.
