My wife and I had been trying to purchase a home for some time. I heard an ad on the radio about National Home Buyers and how they could help me and my familly purchase a home despite our credit and with no closing costs. I have to say that I was a bit suspicious but called the number anyway and spoke with a representative. We went to their office and got a free consultation on how the program works and later we decided to move forward and apply for the program.

I am not the kind of person who needs someone to hold my hand but I really appreciate how Stacy took the time to explain what was going on and why we needed to do the things that were required. In the end, after joining the program, the only thing I really had to do was stay employed, pay my bills on time and provide documents that they needed like paystubs and tax returns.

I am not going to say there weren't some painful times along the way however they got us through the entire process. We did have to settle some collections and try to work on savings but at the end fo the day they got us to the closing table. Stacy helped us with the credit, coordinated things with our lender and when the time was right got us with an agent to find a home. Luckily we qualified for a down payment grant and since NHBA covers the closing costs we got into our new home for less out of pocket then it would have costed to do a rental.

Now I am a home owner and even though NHBA covered the closing costs (about $7,500) I gtt to deduct that from my taxes which got me an extra $2,200 tax refund. Homeownership...dream come true....nhba kicks butt.
