When I spoke with David Anderson, a representative, over the phone, he came across so very sweet and understanding as to how financially hard it would be for me to move from Las Vegas to Miami, especially to help out my mother who fell ill at the time.  He took advantage of my vulnerability by saying how he will ONLY charge me $1,100 for the move from Vegas to Miami and that I will have to make a $300 deposit over the phone to make sure I'm locked in to that amount. After receiving the deposit I was told that I have to make a money order for $550.00 to give to the movers when they picked up the furniture. That's a total of $850.00 that was invested into this move, with a balance of $250 to give them when they deliver.

After the MOVERS moved all of my furniture (worth $2,900) into the truck, I was told that I would have to pay upwards of $900 more to get my furniture delivered.  I was shocked to have been charged an amount that I knew that I couldn't afford to pay.  I tried to reach out to David over the phone and it took a while before he responded to my call.  After letting him speak to the movers about how he did promise that it will cost me $1100, I was told that there was nothing he could do.  Frustrated by all of this, I told the movers that instead of moving the furniture, I wanted them to be donated to Goodwill.  Fast Forward to 9 months later, I called David and he told me they were donated, but he has no proof.  For that I want all the money as well as the value of my furniture.  Thank you.

Complaint Summary
OVERALL, David  has made my move to Miami miserable.  He used his lies to con me of $850 in "fees" as well as give up over $2,000 of my furniture.

Resolution Sought
I would like National Moving and Storage, Inc. to reimburse me for the money I put in ($850) plus the furniture ($2,900) that I had to give up due to a drastic price increase that was placed on the contract when I was given a guaranteed promise by David  that I would only pay $1,100 for the move. If this isn't resolved, I will sue this company for that amount as well as the emotional distress they have caused...UP TO BUT NOT LIMITED TO $1,000,000.

When filing for my taxes, I wanted proof that my furnitures were donated to Goodwill.  How funny that a set of furnitures worth close to $3,000 wasn't given any type of receipt from this well-known company (Goodwill).  Listen up...BUDDY...my intentions were not to donate my furnitures in the first place.  Because I was deceived by your AWESOME representative (NOT!!!), I was left with no choice but to donate them to a charity.  Now that I'm noticing how YOU GUYS con people in so many different ways, I will make it my business to put you all out of business.  Trust me when I tell you that you will never forget me...For the Rest of Your Life.  Take Care:-)
