National Protection Services - beware Beware, they will try to get you to purchase their product without letting you review the coverage New Jersy Nationwide

I received a call from National Protection Services with an offer to extend my warranty.  Overall it sounds like a good deal, however when you ask to see everything that is covered they refuse and tell you that you have to purchase the product before you can see it.  That right there was a red flag.  

Then i asked if i could have time to do my own research before making a decision, i was told i had to purchase right then, second red flag.  The sales guy kept going on about how they are A+ rated with the BBB so i googled them, the first thing that came up was ripoff report complaints that matched my experience with this pushy sales person who kept telling me that i what a great offer it was but wouldn't provide me any clear details on the offer and that all i had to do was give him my credit card number and if i didn't like the product could return it within 30 days.  

I also looked at the BBB site and found that they had close to 100 complaints many of them the same as i was experiencing...how they could have an A+ rating is beyond me.  After i asked again to have time to do research he put his "manager" on the phone who started in on the same sales pitch, once again i asked to either have them send me details on the coverage or give me time to do my own research at which point she she said "sorry i can't help you" and hung up.  

All i can say is that a company that won't allow you to see what it is you're purchasing or give you the time to research buyer beware. I never do business with rude people or companies that use the hard sell tactic to try to pressure you into buying before you know exactly what you're getting.
