NATIONAL RETAIL SUPPLY CALLED MY BUSINESS AND SPOKE TO AN EMPLOYEE, ASKING IF OUR ADDRESS WAS CORRECT AS THEY HAD IT AND ALSO ASKED THEM WHAT OUR  COMPUTER MODEL WAS, CLAIMING THEY WERE OUR CREDIT CARD PROCESSING COMPANY, AS WE GET PAPER DELIVERED FROM OUR MERCHANT COMPANY THEY EMPLOYEE PROCEEDED AND SAID YES THATS OUR ADDRESS HERE. A FEW DAYS LATER I RECEIVED PRODUCTS FROM THEM, KNOWING WHAT MY COMPANY USUALLY SENDS, I THOUGHT IT WAS A MISTAKE. 2 DAYS LATER I FOUND OUT IT WASNT MY COMPANY, BECAUSE I RECEIVED A BILL FOR $286.00 FOR 24 ROLLS OF PAPER THAT I CAN WELL BUY AT OFFICE MAX FOR $20. OK SO I THOUGHT ID CALL THEM AND LET THEM KNOW THIS WAS A MISTAKE AND THE PAPER DOESNT EVEN FIT MY MACHINE AND THEY WILL TAKE CARE OF IT. I SURE WAS WRONG, I CALLED AND AS SOON AS I TOLD THE PERSON IN THE OTHER LINE THERE HAS BEEN A MISTAKE CUZ I DIDNT PUT THIS ORDER IN, HE GOT VERY DEFENSIVE AND TOLD ME HE WILL PULL UP THE RECORDING, I WAS POLITE AND ASKED HIM WHERE THEY GOT MY INFORMATION FROM AND HE STARTED YELLING AT ME AND TELLING ME HOW RUDE IT WAS THAT I CUT HIM OF, AT THIS POINT I ASKED TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER. WELL THAT DIDNT HELP MUCH EITHER, HE ALSO BECAME VERY DEFENSIVE AND STARTED MAKING FUN OF ME, EVERYTIME I SPOKE GO ON I WOUNT CUT YOU OFF, I ASKED WHAT I NEEDED TO DO TO RETURN THESE AND NOT GET CHANGED, HE TOLD ME SURE BUT THERE IS A $55 RESTOCKING FEE FOR A PRODUCT THAT I NEVER ORDERED. I REFUSED TO PAY THIS, AND AGAIN HE STARTS GOING ON WITH STORIES ABOUT HOW WE ORDERED IT AND ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS, FINE ILL RETURN IT BUT I WONT PAY. HE WOULD NOT GIVE ME AN RMA## AND STARTED TELLING ME ABOUT THE LAW AND WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF I DONT PAY. SO NOW HE HAS CROSSED THE LINE AND IM WAITING TO SEE WHAT HE WILL DO ABOUT THIS, BECAUSE HE HAS NO IDEA WHAT I HAVE IN STORE FOR HIM. IF ANYONE HAS EXPERIENCED ANYTHING SIMILAR WITH THIS COMPANY, DONT JUST WRITE ON HERE ABOUT IT BUT ALSO REPORT THEM WITH YOUR LOCAL BBB AND ALSO WITH YOUR STATES ATTORNEY GENERAL, I WILL

Stop crying, you are a business owner!

AUTHOR: Joanne - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, December 07, 2010

I own a restaurant in Juneau, Alaska and I have been dealing with National Retail Supply for four years now. I love the service and the return customer credits they give me for my early paid invoices. It's sometimes very difficult to by paper down here and I find the convenience they provide extremely helpful. Although I could find it frustrating if one of my unauthorized employees ordered any type of product, and that is why I tell them not to from the start. I think that there is a huge number of business owners out there who neglect to properly train their employees, and do not take a leadership role in their company. If by chance one of my employees did order something, you better believe that they would tell me. You could have simply not accepted the shipment, or even better, you can call for a return of the package(they have a standard 30 day return policy- which I think is fully reasonable), but to simply complain, and b***h while you hold another business' product and refuse to pay, is dishonest and extremely hypocritical!!!!!! Their stuff is a little pricey, yes I do agree, but for people in my situation, I would rather put an extra couple of bucks extra into knowing who I deal with. Playing the ignorant card is for five year olds, not for reputable business owners. Grow up, and deal with situations properly.

Best of luck in your situation, but if price is such an issue to you, then maybe you should watch your business a little better ;)

Send them a short letter thanking them for their GIFT of paper.

The law is clear, if you are sent something you didn't order, then a bill arrives, it's illegal.

You may consider it a free gift No payment is due, ever. that'll kill this scam.Their Billing is illegal.
