I was contacted by National Automotive Marketing out of Omaha Ne to help me sell my 2010 Dodge Challenger and they told me they can check out their website and they would place me on eBay’s auction until it sold for only $399 which is the discount price for their Golden package $499 value.

I was told that they make all their money on the financing and shipping once my vehicle sold.  I asked what the average time to sell a car is, they said 6-8 weeks but they would list it until it sold even if it took a year.  And I also informed that I am only selling the car because I have no money to pay my installments for the upcoming months.

They said here is what we are willing to do let us have a credit card number we will not charge it unless your car sales.  That is more than fair isn’t it.  But later on I insisted to use PayPal which is a preferred method of eBay transaction when item sells. I said ok I can do and it would be worth $399 as I was assured that car would sell.  Next thing I know my PayPal card was charged I thought by not allowing them my security code on my credit card they could not charge it.

NATIONAL VEHICLE said would list my car on eBay till sold one-time fee $399 but again after 21 days they came to tell me that, I need to pay them $349 to put reserve on price so they track the watchers on the car and convert them to bidders. National Vehicle agent said they will personally contact the people and negotiate as they are also finance. They claimed that they have an agreement with eBay so they can offer the Golden package $399 to their client listing their vehicle on eBay till the vehicle is sold. When checked with the eBay informed there is no such contract… but obvious after taking the initial fee $399, when I called the National Vehicle agent they are now denying the fact that they never mentioned about the agreement part and spoke rudely.. I said I am going inform about this to eBay, the agent threatened me that “go ahead and do whatever you can” .. I was shocked at the tone and reply … a company which upfront calls me and offer its services is using such unacceptable language…

NATIONAL VEHICLE BEWARE….. PLEASE DON’T FALL IN THE TRAP.

If you want to get trapped by these scam artist give them your information and when you realize the only thing they sold was for you to pull out a credit card so they can make money over and over and over.  Now I have to dispute again. The reason I chose them was I did not have the time to sell the car.

With all the time I have spent with the crap from these people I could have sold the car myself with a lot less headaches and would have sold by now.  So, not I'm out over $976.00 on my payment.  Wow, I thought one time charge until sold meant that but in my case no charge until sold.  Well, my car has never received an offer and I am out $1069.00 because I believed them and gave them my PayPal credit card. I wish the money was used in making my car payment.
