The company and Alan Litvak claim to be conducting "legislative research" in every state. The company uses this as an attempt to sell their expensive memberships to "responsible Americans." Alan Litvak, who is the Houston area manager, trains his field representatives to ignore "no solicitation" signs and to solicit business without a license, both are violations of state and local law.
The scheme has been working for decades and management stated they have no intention of changing their business practices because they have never "had any issues" since 1958.
Furthermore, the company claims to be nonpartisan, however, they seem to only hire conservatives and Alan Litvak continuously and forcefully bashes liberals and the democratic party.
Beware of this company and Mr. Litvak, their legislative research consists of asking potential clients politically charged questions to determine if the client is worth giving a 30-minute sales pitch to. The "research" questionnaire is sent to congressmen, however, there is no data quantified or even recorded, hardly research...
