At a time that Unemployment has hit us so hard, Leslie(who knows if this is his real name) decided that he would pose as a Financial Consultant for Nationwide Financial and get us to agree to provide all of our confidential Financial data to his 'Company'.
After paying $798.00 up front for Debt Management, we were led to believe that he could reduce our Credit Card interest and he guaranteed that his 'Company' could save us a minimum of $2500. during the course of our credit payments.
After winning our confidence, Leslie has now disconnected all phone/fax numbers that were provided to us and has never come through on any of the promised services. He has scammed us, caused irreparable damage to our Credit and stolen our money.

#1 REBUTTAL Individual responds
I am not to be held responsible
AUTHOR: Leslie - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Saturday, November 28, 2009
I will address your attacks one at a time, since you have chosen to attack me on a personal level. First and foremost, I did not POSE as anything. I am exactly as stated, a financial consultant. I consult people on the subject of their finances. Second, I did not get you to agree to anything, as I am not a salesman, nor was I the first, nor likely even the second person that you spoke with. What I am is the person that would have completed your negotiations with the banks, not completed a sale with you. Third, I am NOT the one that made the decision to shut any phone, nor fax lines. I am not the owner of the company, nor anything more than a (former) employee. I did not scam anyone. I am a victim of the now defunct company, much as you are claiming to be. I, on the other hand, UNLIKE you, will not get the money owed to me. You can call the bank and place a dispute on the charge for services not rendered, and the bank will refund the charge to your account along with the accrued finance charges. I am offended by you at the accusation that I did anything wrong. It was not my place to convince you to hire us, nor my place to collect any money. By the time your file was placed on my desk, you were already sold, and charged. My job was nothing more than to keep the promises made to you by others, to the best of my ability. You complain that I personally scammed you, like I was the owner of the company, meanwhile I was the one who was scammed, and not paid my wages for my work, and will never receive them due to the company now being closed. As stated before, I did NOT shut the phone/fax, I had no power, nor control over what happened to the company. You need to get your facts and names straight before you start accusing people of things.
