I contracted Nationwide Relocation Services to move my belongings from Michigan to Alabama. They subcontracted with Michigan Relocation Services. They picked up my things on June 5th and told me that they would deliver them to me bewteen June 16th to June 19th.
On June 18th they told me they were not able to get my things on their last truck to my area and that they would get it on the next load out. They said that that would be within the next seven to ten days.
On June 29th I called them again and they told me that they still hadn't sent my things out and didn't know when they would be able to.
I have called Nationwide on multiple times and they just give me the run around and twice even hung-up on me after telling them my name.
I've called Michigan Relocation Services on multiple occasions. They do not give me a staight answer and now they don't answer my calls. When I leave a message asking for a call back they do not call back.
I have been forced to live with little or no furniture for the past 30 plus days. They have my cooking utensils, my clothes, personal possessions, ect..
I've had to buy things that I already have.
Everyone I've talked to shakes their head in disbelief when I tell them what has been going on this past month.
I need help! I'm getting nowhere and these two companies are ignoring my pleas to deliver my things. I am powerless to these bullies.
I'm getting more and more depressed with each passing day and I'm concerned it will begin effecting my work.
Is there anything that can be done? I just want and need my things and I want everyone to know how bad these companies are to prevent others from this.
