Nationwide Van Lines 5450 S. State Rd Up the rates and threat of non delivery Hollywood Florida

Please don't deal with Nationwide Van Lines as my son found out trying to move home from college. Here is a copy of the letter to them stating the problems. No reply was received from them. They are a rip-off and the people they work with in Phoenix, 1st Choice, is right there with them. Ever thought you have been had. We just did, by Nationwide Van Lines.

My son moved home from college, Tempe, AZ to Las
Vegas. Got a quote from a Orli Bram of $1,200.00.
She told him he didn't have ENOUGH stuff so he had to
pay a base price. He agreed. When the stuff was picked up by 1st Choice, they raised the amount to $2,068.40 saying he had 5-6 extra medium boxes. That's over $100 per box. He had to agree as he was on the last day of his rental apartment. I called 1st Choice to question it. Got RUDE people saying that was the figure and when I said I was in the media and I was going to check it out. They then said they were breaking the agreement and would NOT ship. After a couple days of phone calls they agreed to ship. It was delivered and they were paid. There was a wheel missing from the bed frame, too.

My son has since moved to San Franciso from Las Vegas,
with the same stuff, minus a tv set and bike. He added a desk, dinning room table and dresser. We got an honest
mover this time and it cost $1400.00 for more stuff
and a longer distance and no threats. I called four
different movers and ALL of the quoted prices between
$1,000-to $1,500.00. NONE of them charged like you
and 1st Choice.
