navistar financial is responsible for the financing of two flat bed trailers that i purchased in 2007.  when the economy went really bad this company would not work with me at all.  if i was 30 days late they would threaten reposession.  in the years that i have had the units they were assigned for repo even though they were never reposessed i was stilled charged upwards of 500.00.  recently i received a notice in the mail that one of my units was coming up on 60 days behind and i had three business days to make payment.  i called this company on the third day before the deadline and they wouldnt answer the phone.  i left several messages for alex who was my rep yet she never returned my calls. on the following monday i called again finally got a answer and told her i would call and make payment when i got into town that afternoon.  when i called at around 1200 she wouldnt answer again i made several calls and left messages.  the next morning i called again and she said she had assigned it for repossession and i would have to call them.  i feel this action was deliberately done to cause me further financial hardship.  i had the money to catch this loan up on friday yet they wouldnt answer my calls or return my msgs.  this is the second time they have pulled this stunt.  this is a unfair practice and it just causes undue financial hardship.

Most of these repossession crybabies on here are really deadbeats who think they should be allowed to just stop paying and keep the vehicle, but this guy obviously had the money. He was a few days away from paying it up and he was trying hard to do what he could. He did everything right, i.e. calling and leaving messages, instead of ignoring all correspondence. He tried and they were wrong."

Did you notice he's been late several times for 30 days and at least once for 60 days. He's been warned of a repo MORE than once.

Tell me, how far should a lender go to deal with this?

I don't think he was keeping up his end of the bargain at all...for whatever his reasons.

BTW, since you don't seem to understand the concept of this ROR site, posting a report is a tacit invitation to Rebuttals, whether the OP likes them or not.

O-o-o-p-s, I forgot, you told me to shut up. Sorry.

You were late 30 days more than once and YOU were 60 days late at least once.

"i feel this action was deliberately done to cause me further financial hardship.  i had the money to catch this loan up on friday yet they wouldnt answer my calls or return my msgs.  this is the second time they have pulled this stunt.  this is a unfair practice and it just causes undue financial hardship."

1. Yes it was deliberately done, but YOU were the cause of the "further financial hardship."

2. How is this a "stunt" they have pulled to get YOU to live up to the terms of the contract YOU signed?

3. In what way were they "unfair" for trying to hole YOU to YOUR agreement?

YOU are without doubt a DEADBEAT, blaming anyone else for YOUR lack of financial restraint.

You appear fated to get this "unfair treatment" from ANY lender unfortunate enough to loan YOU money.

Have a nice future battling your lenders....DEADBEAT!
