I ordered a DVD from Naxpmedia.net on Nov. 21 as a Christmas gift. In mid-December I realized it had not arrived, so I checked the status. Their website said that it had been re-shipped via UPS on Dec 12, and it listed a tracking number. When I plugged that number in the UPS site, it said Naxpmedia sent them the billing info on Dec 12, and that's it. On Dec 21 nothing had changed, so I send Naxpmedia a message via their online email form. I got no response. Now it's Dec 27 and the product still hasn't been shipped. I sent another email. A few hours later, I got the following reply:

We do not ship from here in this office, the actual packages are sent out from Hawaii, thats a different time zone. This office forwards the shipping info, and Hawaii office has the actual packages . So first the shipping info is forwarded to UPS and then the package. I have informed are shipping company. Please give it some time, for the status change, keep checking up the status of the shipment, and you'll receive it soon. Or we may glady refund if you wish.

What a horrible response! Basically, she said this was all normal and I just needed to be patient. And what's this nonsense about Hawaii, as if that explains my DVD not being shipped yet, 36 days after the purchase!
I replied and told them I wanted the refund, but based on my experience so far I'm not too optimistic. We'll see.

My refund hit my bank on Dec 31. Naxpmedia's service was wretched, but they did refund my money in reasonably short order.

Naxpmedia seems to be processing my refund

I got an automated email indicating that Naxpmedia had processed my refund. It hasn't hit my bank yet, but the email said it could take a few days. So far, they seem to be honoring their word to do the refund. I'll post again if and when I get it, or if I don't get it.
