NCC - Div Of Commonwealth Financial Systems Sent me a bill via snailmail for $500 worth of services I never recieved, claims to be collection agency. Beware, their website installs spyware onto your computer! dickson city, Pennsylvania

I received a very genuine looking bill in the mail, as did my mother-in-law last week, saying it was a collection agency called NCC - a division of Commonwealth Financial Systems, Inc.  

Just like my mom's, it said I owed nearly $500 to something called Paragon Contract Services Inc. which seems to be a legitimate company not associated with NCC at all.  It says to mail a money order, or pay by phone with credit card, or go online to pay.   It even gave me an account number to use while paying online, so I went straight to my computer and went to their site, www.necredit.com.  My antivirus program alerted me that the site was trying to install browser add-ons onto my comp, so I exited the site right away.  That's when I did a search online and found out that NCC is a complete fraud. 

I started to go to another site that came up in my search that claimed to be a business reviewing site telling you how great NCC is, and that site tried to download spyware to my comp also!  So that site's obviously run by them as well. 

This scam seems to be hitting multiple family members, so I urge you to warn your family, especially the elderly, if you get one so they don't fall victim to it.  File a report with the Better Business Bureau, and if you can, send a copy to the police station in Dickson City PA, or to whatever city they list as their home. 

But do not go to their website!  You will be infected with spyware, possibly viruses.
