After over 5 years of paying my agreed amount to NCRC on time without one late or missed payment, my debt was almost the same as when I first joined.

The "counselor" I signed with, took copies of my creditors billing statements, contacted all of my creditors, and after doing his figures, said my debt would be paid in 5 to 6 years, and at the end of the program I would receive my first payment back.

He did not say it may take as long as 10 to 30 years, he said 5 to 6 years!

NCRC was able to get my interest rates lowered, but that is the only positive thing they did, but by late payments made by them to my creditors, it was not worth the lowered interest rate.

I now have to wait another 1 to 2 more years until this is off of my credit report. Almost any debt management company can get your interest rates lowered.

After explaining to one of my creditors the reason I wanted to dismiss NCRC and make my own payments, they left my interest rates the same. They had been receiving late payments from NCRC periodically throughout the entire time.

In December 2006 I cancelled in writing to NCRC. Since then, by redistributing the funds in a more efficient way, I have paid one card completely off and have paid others down more in 3 months than they did in 2 years, and done it on time.

I also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau at which NCRC is a member. I even faxed them a letter from one of my creditors proving NCRC had not been paying on time.

The BBB still considers NCRC in good standing with no negative findings and filed my complaint as "closed" basically saying that I was in the "not satisfied" with the outcome.

Which was true, I wasn't satisfied since no attempt by NCRC was made to accept even an ounce of wrong doing. NCRC mislead me, along with the above mentioned problems, plain and simple.

NCRC's "President" Stephen Rubino, responded to the BBB saying that they are not responsible for any late payments or credit report entries made, that although given a 5 year "estimate", I new it could surely go longer, etc.

Rubino also claimed I was harassing and belligerent, and said my $35 monthly fee was hardly worth the aggravation. The whole response, I feel was used to intimidate me, even the company's attorney law file number was listed at the end of the letter.

I'm sure NCRC counts on people like me that are in debt and assume we are to stupid and poor to afford an attorney.

This has to stop! I can't believe this company has not faced a lawsuit, at the very least by misleading clients, and rather than assisting the client in minimizing debt, damages their credit even more.

If any attorney wishes to contact me further on this or has an existing lawsuit against NCRC, I want to be represented and will provide you with everything I have to get this Debt Nightmare Company off the streets of the United States.

NCRC How To Get Refund

AUTHOR: Leslie - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, July 18, 2007

I filed a report against NCRC Feb. 2001. I should be entitled to my initial "deposit" of $629 for NCRC's inability to even come close to their "estimated" payoff of my debt that was 5 years. Not to mention the catastrophic damage to my credit report. I am probably not going to be able to get my $35 dollar a month "fee" they collected either. If anyone has experience or knowledge of how to get some of my money back, please share your knowledge. After reading an "ex-employers" comment, stating they may be going out of business, I feel I am a poster case for "Ripoffreport.com".

deduct that "$35 monthly fee (that) was hardly worth (Stephen Rubino's) aggravation" and then see how much of your remaining payments were actually forwarded to your creditors. If there is a shortfall, it might spell fraud.

Your final solution is the correct solution, and now you know that if you want your debts managed you will have to do it yourself- and you also now know that you CAN do it yourself. Isn't this knowlege worth your "price of admission"?
