After purchasing the game Lineage 2, and playing for about a year now,Spending 100 dollars for 2 games, and 30 dollar for 2 months of playtime (per game). Not to mention all the time I have invested in leveling my character. This company Suspends and Deactivates my accounts for pitiful reasons. I dont know how many of you have played the ONLY ONLINE game. But here it is in short. The game is infested with Adena(in game gold) farmers. They run bots and farm this adena to sell on action sites via/paypal for REAL money. Also they sell it on private websites. Anyways the entire game is infested with hundreds of thousands of these farmers. They Constantly harass and threaten everyone, and kill you , wasting your time and money. When I made a character to do some 'pay back' I killed well over 50, OVER AND OVER, NCSOFT suspends and terminates my account, saying im exploiting. After many emails and phone calls to them, they do nothing about the farmers, and my grief..... They care not about the bots, and less about the normal paying customers........ If I were you and thinking about buying any NCSOFT game or product, I would think twice....... Good Hunting!

Two sides to every story

AUTHOR: Patrick - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, November 01, 2004

I am a avid online gamer, I have played many MMORPGS such as Ultima, Lineage 2, City of Heroes, Anarchy Online, and others. I can tell you first hand that online game company's are concerned about two things first. 1) Subscription #s, and 2) Money. They do not just randomly ban or terminate a player's account. Most times you will get a warning, then if that does not convince you to stop they will give you a 72 hr suspension to get you to think about your repetitive violation of their Terms of Service.

Only then if you continue to violate the rules do they terminate an account, and only if they feel they are certain they can not get you to stop your behavior. I love playing online games, and feel the lineage 2 is a good game. I just want everyone to know that regarding online gaming in general that there is two sides to every story. We may never hear what NCSoft has to say, but it's not as cut and dry as the above person says.
