My mother (Dortha) and I (Anissa) decided to build us a new house last winter. We hired Ne Texas Builders Inc. (John Noyes) out of Greenville, Tx. to construct our house. John Noyes, the builder convinced us to try a Tridipanel house. This builder contacted me through Craigslist.

The house was started around the middle of December 2015, the completion date was suppose to be on April 7th. The house was still not completed by the end of May. My mother and I had a lot of doubts about the house, after they constructed it.  The house looked terrible, it leaked, just to name a couple of the many faults.  We knew things were not done right, so mom and I decided to hire a certified house inspector.

The inspector came on May 27th, he said the house was constructed so bad, it should be a criminal case against this builder. I have the report. All the electrical was done illegally, the walls/roof/windows leaked, and there are many other faults. The plumbing is still pending. The inspector called the builder, John met him at the house. When the inspector confronted him about the electrical/house issues, John got mad, argued with the inspector, and he stopped/ended construction on our house on May 27th, 2016.

After John Noyes stopped/ended work on our house, we had him and his crew banned from our property.  John came back and stole some stuff out of the house, a couple/few weeks later. We did file trespassing and theft charges against him through the Fannin County Sheriff's office.

Majority of the time, when I questioned John about the quality of his work, all he would do is yell at me, and state:  "I have been doing this for 30 years, I know what I am doing, I am good, and I am such a nice guy."   Yea Right!  John was very unprofessional, arrogant, and had a real attitude problem.   He was a bully toward us during the construction of our house.

We've had several builders look at the house, after he quit/walked off the job. All of them said, that they have never seen such a big mess in their lives, the whole house is basically constructed wrong. We are going to try to have it fixed, some have even recommended having it bull-dozed down and start over, it is that bad.

We have already paid John Noyes over $123,500.00 for a completed house and he only completed about 78% of the house when he stopped/ended the work. This house has a lot of major faults.  John Noyes is incompetent to re-mediate/repair this house, so we are having to hire professional workers to try and fix it.

We are requesting a refund of $26,500.00 for the work that he was paid for and never completed. Also a refund for the electrical/HVAC work, which totaled around $12,000.00. The electrical work throughout the house that John installed, it was labeled as a fire and electric shock hazard.     All of the electrical work is going to have to be taken out and redone by a licensed electrician.  The HVAC work that he installed is also done wrong.   We do plan to bill him for what all of the electrical/HVAC will cost to repair.  He also installed all the plumbing, which he is not licensed to do that either.  That was well over $4,000.00.  Even the garage door he installed was labeled as:  Warning garage door springs appears to be over tightened and installed using scrap lumber and base boards. This installation is not professional and extremely dangerous.

I have filed a complaint against this builder through the Better Business Bureau (BBB), he did not respond to the complaint.  I have also filed a complaint against him with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) for doing the electrical/HVAC without being licensed and  the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (TSBPE) for doing the plumbing without being licensed.

As repairs are made, due to the fault of the builder, we are requesting a refund for that also. Total as of now = $50,000.00.  It will be a lot more, as repairs are made.  This builder has turned our dream house into the biggest nightmare of our lives.
