On May 20, 2015 I booked a round trip flight, car rental and travel insurance, for flights to my 50 year reunion in Sept.

On Sept.17 I checked in to a park, sleep and fly hotel in Las Vegas to catch my flight the following morning.  I did not get the wake up call, as requested.  As a result I missed my flight.  I was exhausted from running to the gate, and totally lost.  Not knowing what to do, I called the number on my reservation for the insurance carrier.  I was told that the insurance had been cancelled when I missed the flight.  I asked for assistance in finding another flight to my destination. I was able to get new reservations on new airlines.  I did not know definitavely what those flights were costing.  My primary concern was to get to my reunion.  I got a new rental car, and everything went as scheduled.  

On Sept 21, I called for boarding passes on the return flight.  That's when I found out that my return had also been cancelled.  I spent the night in the airport checking for new flights.  I was able to book them at the counter.  So I flew back to Vegas and stayed another day at the hotel.  I was exhausted.

When I arrived home I checked the charges on my credit card. (United $286.10. and Spirit Air $83.09)  Then a charge for $700 from Agent Fee.  I was never informed there was an agent fee for scheduling the flights.  I couldn't believe this was correct, so I disputed the charge.  I then got an email from  Puneet Sawhney, saying that he was returning the $700.00, and would charge only $414.00.  It seems only ethical that any such fees be disclosed during the transaction.  I was never told of an extra agent fee.  But it seems now that they have my credit card numbers, they are able to charge whatever they want.  

Apparently this ticket agency and the insurance are one in the same, and are out to rip-off unsuspecting people.  This was a scam from beginning to end.  

I will never again buy travel insurance, and only buy one way tickets. This was a very expensive lesson for me.
